ABOUT
Better information for practical decisions
Who publishes Method & Miles?
Method & Miles is an independent digital publication covering AI tools, better ways to work, and smarter travel. Editorial responsibility sits with Method & Miles Editorial. We do not invent personal bylines, credentials, or first-hand experience when no verified individual author or tester exists.
Who is it for?
Our default reader is not a specialist. We write for everyday digital users, knowledge workers, and travelers who want to choose better tools, reduce unnecessary work, and avoid avoidable cost or friction. When a subject is technical, we start with the decision the reader actually needs to make.
How do we research and edit?
For prices, policies, product features, schedules, and other changing facts, we prioritize current official and primary sources. We then add our own decision tools: comparison criteria, calculations, matrices, checklists, templates, and market-specific interpretation. A rewritten source summary is not enough on its own.
How do we use AI?
AI may assist with research organization, comparison, drafting, and quality checks. Method & Miles Editorial remains responsible for source verification, separating fact from assumption, and the final editorial judgment. We never turn AI assistance into a claim that we personally tested a product or took a trip when we did not.
We distinguish testing from analysis
When Method & Miles actually runs a test or measurement, the article states the scope and evidence. When an article is based on official documentation and public information, we say so. Hypothetical calculations are labeled as hypothetical and designed so readers can replace our assumptions with their own.
Why does this publication exist?
Our goal is not to repeat every product launch or travel headline. It is to help a reader answer a more useful question: “What should I do with this information?” We update material errors and retire guidance that no longer helps readers make a sound decision.
